Man Thinking Of Playing Basketball Again Slips Disc On Way To Get Yoghurt From Fridge

Hoping to revive some of the vigour of his youth, office worker Greg Koustopolous had signed up to his local amateur basketball league, but is now injured for the upcoming season. “I’m not sure how this happened, when I was younger I could go for six hours on a pack of frozen supermarket burgers heated using some hand friction. But now, I swear I was just thinking about getting up, and my spine and knees both simultaneously exploded.” “What’s really disappointing is that I’ve already done a lot of training; last Sunday I joined the local seniors basketball club for some intense half court sessions, so I don’t understand why I’m suddenly not fit to be alive.” Rita Everidge, the club’s oldest member at 86 said, “The club is really just a place for us ladies to move about a bit, so it was a little strange that he spent three hours lying on the floor, gasping for air and bargaining with the reaper of souls to end his suffering. We weren’t sure if we should call an ambulance or the morgue. You can never be too sure at our age.” Koustopolous recounted: “This reminds me of the time that I offered to help a girl with her suitcase up a flight of stairs. She had the audacity to tell me to be careful, to which I replied, “I know my own body.” I lifted the suitcase and shit myself.”
